Hvasser

26.02.2019

Today we went to Hvasser. In my opinion, it was one of our best trips so far, the landscape and the weather were amazing for doing our activities.

After arriving to Hvasser we met with Kari-Anne, which prepared for us a small treasure hunt in order to find some “mythical creatures”. We were told when we arrived there some folk stories about the sea, the Fishermans and the mermaids that used to live in that area and about other mythical figures that were surrounding Hvasser. After finding the objects that we supposed to find after the treasure hunt, my team and I had to invent a game or a folk story about our mythical creature, which was a sea snake.

The game that my team and I was invented in order to improve the gross- motorical skills of the pupils, because the game was made on a big rock so the children would have to exercise their equilibrium. The game was related to the creature that we have found during our treasure hunt. The people had to create a snake and they had too walk between each others legs in order to catch the last one from the row.

That’s how our “sea-snake game” looked like

The hike after the activities

Later on, we went together in a small hike in order to grill our food, next to a military area. The view was amazing and we barbecued our food over there. After that we talked about the wild life in Hvasser. Moreover, we played a really nice game that also in my option is really dog for the gross- motoric skills of the pupils, because we were blindfolded and we had to be guided by a partner and then switch the places.

Furthermore, you’re going to see some nice pictures that I took during our amazing trip to Hvasser.
