WEEK 7
On week 7 we have visited with our professor, Kari Anne, and my colleagues the city center in Horten, and Preus Museum, in order to see the landscapes and playscapes that these places are providing, and what are the different ways of experiencing landscapes in that area.
In Horten square we split in teams and each one had to chose a spot that thought it would have been useful for playing and learning children. I was just looking around without getting in depth with all the activities that could be done with the children in that square. There were different “climbable” objects, lots of stairs and places to hide, some cannons that could have been used in order to teach the children some history. Moreover there was a music place ”Musik Spielplatz”, where children could have played and make music by their own, we even tried the tools to see that they are working. After visiting the square we walk along Hortenstangen Batteri to Preus Museum.
The next activities that we had were at the Preus Museum, a place where children can have different activities that can increase their imagination. We got a task in which we had to extract a ticket and take pictures with the specific color that was written on the ticket (for me, yellow). I am going to attach below the pictures that my team and I took at the Preus Museum.
