My trip was by foot because this area is so big and it has different ways of getting there if you are driving then it is 8 minutes from Horten center, but because I do not live near the center I went to borrevannet from  Bjørnestien well this was such an adventure I started my walk from home and followed my GPS, which was 30 mins walk through the forest. well, I was not alone I took my 3-year-old on this adventure to see what affordance I can find with a kid with me.

we walked for more than 35 mins and reached our destination, it took longer cause walking with a kid under the age of 5 is quite difficult they do not want to walk for a long time and roads that are difficult for them make it harder. so my recommendation is to take a group of older kids from the age of 6 years and above if you are going to take the way through the forest.

Borrevanne is a beautiful drilling lake located in Horten.

Used to be a source of drinking water in Horten.
The lake and the wetland area is now a nature reserve.
The lake has special plants and animals both in the water and around the area,
It has approx 255 registered bird,
The lake is also famous for fishing ( 9 different types of fish),
The drilling water is 2 sq km large 4km long 800m wide 15 meters at the deepest.
