Podcast
As we are all still at home. Practicing social distance. our classes are still online, this week we had an assignment where we were working in groups to create a podcast and have a discussion about the different curriculum and how outdoor education works.
In our podcast we discussed how Norway has implemented outdoor education into the curriculum, what benefits has it had and so on
I hope you will enjoy and learn something from it.
Tanzania per- school framework
This week we learned about the Norwegian per school. basically the kids are taught about their surroundings both outside and inside but mostly that they use nature more, this means they spend a lot of time outside.
compering this to my home country this is too different. some of the curricula might be the same but the amount of time spent outdoors is not the same.

Nature place week 4

Temperature rised to 11°C, so we could see small spiders that live in tree holes. We suppose that maybe they are baby spiders, as before we saw a lot of their eggs in holes and under a tree burk. Usually adult spiders are able to sense when cold temperature is coming, so they laying eggs in the late summer and early fall. Their eggs are prone to freeze, so females carefully choose a safe, dark place to protect them from low temperatures. Aslo, it’s quite hard to capture on camera, but there are many cobwebs on the trees. What means that these small creatures are ready to hunt for insects.
Spiders are main animals in our nature place as well as birds. Before we heard only one or two different birds’ songs, but now there are more of them.
Nature place week 3
This week it snowed so the ground was covered in snow in our nature area. The temperature was around -2 degrees Celsius. The ground was real wet evet step felt like stepping in a muddy puddle
So it was not easy to see what was going on on the small holes under underground. We are very curious to see what type of animal leaves there.
But this time we heard little birds singing it is a sign that spring is near so this is going to very interesting to what they are going to provide on our area. We already have woodpeckers. Who are real at work cause. There is a difference in the tree this time<
There was not really much to observe this week cause much of the ground was covered in snow the only difference was with the temperature is more colder in the morning than in the afternoon.
This small video is to show you guys the birds charming
Week 2 my nature place
our second week at our nature place we went at 12 o clock in the afternoon we first took the temperature. the average temperature was was -2 degrees there was a high level of precipitation -the soundings had not had any changes. the trees were still deciduous due to the winter. there was a little green leaf starting to grow to form some of the smaller branches and trees on the ground even a few wildflowers but this is a bit odd because it is too early this year but due to the big difference of climate this year this is expected.
we also observed a tree that had holes in it and this is the job of a woodpecker. it seemed to eat insects inside the tree. so this a nest.
the spider eggs in the tree that we had observed the week before had not hatched they are still there with no changes. The most different that we observed was that the area had more water on the ground was muddier .
