Comparison between Horten and Taipei

Jill and I both live in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. We have been in Norway for three months and experienced lots of wonderful things. Also, we visited the lovely city Horten a lot. We found that Horten was quite different from Taipei in many aspects, so we decide to make this video to present you what we have discovered in these two cities.

We have compared the below things we found differences between Horten and Taipei:

• Department store
• Movie theater
• Transportation and traffic
• Parking lot
• Library
• Gas station
• News
• Shops

In this video project, we try to tell the differences between Horten and Taipei in many details. Because of the exchanging life in Norway for several months, we have the chance to experience more and make a deeper investigation of this country. Taipei is a very busy city which is always full of people and vehicles. Living in the metropolis makes us have less nearness to nature. Even the outdoor educational trips in Taiwan’s primary school are usually going to the amusement park, instead of playing in a forest. However, we have many opportunities to get close to the natural environment during our life in Horten.
